Gas prices are so high this week that I think I'll celebrate the 4th at home. You know how you can get videos of burning fires and put the TV in your fireplace? Can I do that with fireworks too? haha.

Hoops instead of hearts this year?

It's Valentine's Day, which means sappy love poems, overpriced steak dinners, and yes... the Dallas Mavericks Hoop Camp! Mmm... so romantic. Why does it have to be limited to ages under 18? I'm still a kid too, you know. At least in my own mind.

Mavericks Games: a Whole New Kind of Show

Okay... seriously? So this (see clip here) is really the Dallas Mavericks' intro vs. the Miami Heat? I haven't been to a game in a while, so I must be out of the loop... but I had no idea it was this theatrical. I kept expecting the team to come in doing some Michael Jackson Thriller choreography or something.
